Senior Toddler Staff

Lucie, Anne and Karen

Lucie has worked for NDS for several years. She has worked in early child care and education for the past nine years.  Lucie’s warm and caring personality creates a great atmosphere for the two year olds in her room. Lucie is very energetic and loves to be outdoors. Our toddlers are outdoors every day no matter what the weather is. She and Elisabeth make a great team creating a stimulating environment for the children in their care. Lucie is First Aid and CPR certified.

Anne has been working for NDS for several years. She began as a trainee and has acquired many skills. Anne has attended many workshops on early education. This past spring she finished a Fundamentals Course through CCV and received 45 hours of professional development. This course introduces professionals working with young children skill and core knowledge in various areas of child development. Some of these areas include: teaching skills, how to establish a healthy and safe learning environments, and professionalism and program organization. Anne has a friendly, warm personality and enjoys working with children. She is First Aid certified.

Karen grew up in Manchester and attended BBA; she then moved to New Hampshire to sturdy environmental science, where her love for hiking grew with the beauty of the white mountains. In 2012, she missed the cozy Green Mountains and returned to be closer to her family. She missed working in the carefree, fun, fast-paced atmosphere with children so she gained knowledge through trainings and professional development courses and worked a couple of years at another center with children, ages one to three. Karen also has years of babysitting experience. Karen is CPR and First Aid trained. In the summer of 2015, Karen started working at NDS where she enjoys being in the Senior Toddler classroom with Lucie. Her favorite part of being with the children is seeing their reactions to all the activities and trips they get to experience together. Karen enjoys hiking and exploring with her two dogs and going kayaking and snowboarding with friends. While not outside adventuring, Karen listens to vinyl records and enjoys attending concerts.
